Are you an experienced administrator looking for work?
If you enjoy variety and are available to work at short notice we may have the ideal opportunity for you!
The Borough of Poole runs its own bank of casual admin staff to assist with filling temporary short and long term requirements. Due to its success we now have a need to recruit more casual high level administrators to work on temporary placements throughout the Council. We are looking for people who have experience of office assistant and business support roles and who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
There are a range of hours available, both full and part time. NB The majority of placements require full time hours.
You need to be confident in your admin and ICT skills and happy to work in a range of environments undertaking a variety of tasks.
Our temporary assignments require a variety of knowledge and skills including:
- Setting up and minuting meetings
- PA support
- Financial systems and invoice processing
- Customer service experience
- General office administration
In return we can give you the opportunity to experience working across a number of departments in the council. This will give you the chance to develop your skills in a flexible and friendly work environment. You will be able to apply for our internal job vacancies when you are currently working within a placement and many of our temps go on to find permanent employment at the Borough.
