Environmental Services are offering the first Degree Apprenticeship at the Borough of Poole. It is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with, or projected to gain good A levels AAB or BTEC Level 3 or relevant qualifications, to undertake a degree at Exeter University, while gaining work experience.
The post is for four years on a fixed term contract. The successful applicant must be committed to completing their Apprenticeship and the Degree.

In order to complete your studies you will likely need to spend a limited time in other departments including corporate ICT.
You should be familiar with ICT systems; have good keyboard skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. You should have a good knowledge of the internet and how to undertake research; good communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
You should have a desire and potential to work in ICT as either an IT consultant, Data Analyst or Business Analyst.
It will be advantageous if the candidate either has, or is planning to have a driving license.
