Information Governance Officer
Commissioning & Improvement – People Services and Adult Social Care - Services
Commissioning and Improvement – People Services provides services to children, young people and adults with a quality assurance, commissioning and service improvement role for children’s and adult’s social care, safeguarding and complaints.
We are seeking an experienced, committed and enthusiastic Information Governance Officer to take the lead in ensuring Adult Social Care – Services and Commissioning and Improvement – People Services meet a range of robust governance standards to support the quality delivery of services to the people of Poole.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem solving skills, proven administration skills, extensive experience in quality assurance and information governance processes, excellent analytical skills and knowledge of the Information Governance agenda. Good organisation and time management skills are required to be able to manage a busy and demanding role that often has conflicting priorities and deadlines.
This is an interesting role with a varied remit which includes the delivery of Adult Social Care and Commissioning and Improvement – People Services Information Governance programme. The successful candidate will be working with partner agencies to ensure compliance with information sharing, General Data Protection Regulation, Freedom of Information Act and the Subject Access Code of Practice as well as the Local Authority Transparency Code.
