Do you have the passion to deliver a programme of positive activities to young people and enable them to reach their full potential?

Are you confident in working with young people across the 12 - 18 age range? 

If the answer is YES, please join our Youth Support Workers team within Children Young People & Learning team at the Borough of Poole.

Although previous experience of working with children and young people aged 12 - 18 in an informal setting, with the ability to monitor and evaluate youth working practices are welcome, we are also welcoming individuals who possesses transferable skills and are passionate towards making a difference into young people’s lives.

We are recruiting for Youth Support Workers in the following centres: Creekmoor, Turlin Moor, Limelights and the Town Centre.

Our successful Youth Support Workers based at Creekmoor and Limelights will be required to support young people with Special Education Needs.

You will be part of a team that will deliver fun, motivating and educational activities in sports that will enrich the lives of the young people.

Youth Support Workers – Youth Centre 

You will need to be available for 1 and 2 evening sessions per week including Fridays. Sessions start from 6:30pm and last an average of 2.5hours.

You will be required to be available for 1, 2 afternoon / evening sessions per week including Fridays and Saturdays. Sessions start times are variable from 2:30 pm and last 2.5 hours.
